Correction: I would like the room's opinion on this.....what are your opinions regarding the scriptures not being the original writings and as a result they have been tainted through translation and should not be taken seriously.

Moreover why do we need the scriptures since Holy SPirit dwells in us and He alone is able to teach us.

Ah but how can it be otherwise! :) If man was to tamper with the scriptures, they would not be as they are.

Scripture interprets Scripture. In 2 Timothy it says All Scripture is God Breathed. Divinely Inspired.

Think of all the books, 66 of them. Written by Several Different Authors, on three continents and in different languages. And yet they are all harmonious. That can only be because God had His hand over it.

Jesus quoted a lot of scripture. If Jesus himself did not trust the scriptures, he would not have spoken them.

Even look at how truth is distorted now with stories on the internet. Some have only a shred of truth by the time they have circulated.

If God almighty created the heavens and the earth and created each of us, as fantastic and complicated at it is. What with our DNA and all the different plant life and animal life here on earth, I'm confident He can keep His Holy word pure and intact. ;)

The Bible is also historically accurate. Even some things that were once thought to be mere fable, have in fact been proven true through archeological finds. :)

The Bible is still relevant to us today, thousands of years after the fact.

The Bible is ever revealing more to the believer as they grow in the Lord. It is the Living Word.

There are some different views of some of the scriptures. Such as infant baptism, the rapture, predestination. In each of those cases there are scriptures to support each view. Does that mean that the Bible contradicts? No. I believe that it means there is an answer there that is beyond what we know or need to know now.

One last thing, when they discovered the Dead Sea Scrolls, instead of proving that indeed translations have errors in them, they proved quite the opposite, they proved that the scriptures are indeed accurate!

If we didn't Know of the Bible..we would not have been able to Know of God so deeply or about Christ's great sacrifice for us all nor to even know his will nor to recognise him.

Now,It would be impossible for God to be against himself..like he said before..if Satan rebukes and outcasts his own demons then he will be bringing down his own Kingdom and it would fall immediately..so Likewise the same with God.

The Bible is Simply THE Great WRITTEN WORD of God..in TWO Parts but One able to complete each other to reveal the true and full picture of What God wants us to Know as his will is to be fulfilled.
But there is a LIVING WORD which never stops speaking to us..that Living WORD is Christ Jesus...who SPOKE and called everything into being.
He cannot be against himself.
So in the end the WRitten WORD, which he has given us and what we now call the Bible..his Scripts old and New given to us by his Holy SPirit..are not and cannot ever be ANTI-CHRIST.

Not to mention how we are living today. Consider the Book of Revelation and how long ago it was written but it only serves to show us how true Gods Word is as we see prophecy unfolding before our very eyes..Just look at the world today...and politics. We are working on a one world currency, a one world government and then, it will come to a one world religion. The system that is trying to take over the world...to later...implement the mark of loyalty to the government, and the anti-christ...the mark of the beast.

Amen..even long ago..many have been taught how to be loyal citizens to their country..they were taught that it is PATRIOTISM to honour ones country..Taught to say repititions to love and honour such country...making every one completely segregated in nationalities..when we are all Earthlings in the real..who should be only marked with one loyalty and that is to the true creator God of heaven and earth.
This dark system has been set up very long ago..without many realising what rules they were entering in..or how they would be controled and manipulated over and over again for many years to come.
Now If any goes against the Love of Country in any form they are labeled with UNPATRIOTISM.

This new world order has been set up way too long now we have relaxed within it..for this we are being called out..all of us being born into this world must be identified and we are taught that it is needed a great requirement to being a citizen...otherwise we would not be able to get many services which we would need which they have placed out there under governmental CONTROL and regulations.
Many of us now have grown up in the world system and have simply learnt how to except it...without thought.
This system just wants to evolve into something way much bigger but it has always been here with us..to buy sell trade to get the things we need..to work for those in higher powers as social slaves..we must give of themselves all the while being controlled by the press of a button.
So here we are..will we remain completely Loyal to country..fight and kill for love of country being animalistic or do we learn to follow God's laws and ways and come out of this animalistic mark of the beast in which we live?
Let's seek to choose GOD before all else,let's Stand up Stand up for Jesus reborned in spirit citizens of the Kingdom of God.Lets be marked with the Stamp and seal of God alone..let's show that we seek eternal life and not eternal death.

The Mark of the Beast(animal) is incompleteness it is imperfect human beings in the eyes of God still being lost to sin..most especially when we seek to live against the creator's very own laws and commands..then we become the sons and daughters of Lawlessness...all who go against and denies christ..is Anti-christ..meaning all those who go against and oppose the will of God.

So now Who is this One power who seeks to take us all away from the love,life, laws and commands of God in a very sly and clever way?

And who is it that pretends he doesn't exist,or that he is really here to help us see another way? And to be loyal to his Kingdom for so many thousands of years??

Who is it that tricks and continues to deceieve human beings over and over again even while they walk thinking they are seeing?

There HE IS SATAN the D'EVIL...the one who rules over this Dark Stubborn BEAST like KINGDOM of which God is not a part of.
Our God says Seek first the Kingdom of God and it's RIGHTEOUSNESS and ALL not some ALL things he will add unto you..believe his promises are true and sure!
All his WORDS do come true in one way or another..so Let us all continue to keep watch and be prepared ALWAYS to receive him.
lET us leaving Nothing for the ACCUSER to come before God to accuse us with...but make sure all darkness of sins within us is all being removed, forgiven and deleted away for ever and ever in Christ our Blessed and HOLY Lord and saviour.
